On January 6, 1992, Corey Conners was born in Listowel, Ontario, Canada. When he was younger, the Canadian played ice hockey for his high school team, which went on to win a Provincial Hockey Championship. Conners won the Ontario Amateur Championship in 2010 and represented Canada at the Eisenhower Trophy in 2012 and 2014.

Corey Conners Amateur Career

Conners, an academic all-American and math prodigy, studied actuarial math at Kent State University, where he also excelled academically. Conners placed second in the US Amateur in 2014. He qualified for the 2015 Masters thanks to his performance, however he missed the cut.

Corey Conners PGA

Conners became a professional after failing to make the cut and competed on the PGA Latinoamerica and Mackenzie Tours. After finishing 20th on the Korn Ferry Tour money list in 2017 with three top-10 finishes and 16 cuts, the Canadian earned a spot on the PGA Tour.

Corey Conners Masters

The Canadian had a breakout year in 2019, winning the Texas Open. Conners earned the final berth at the Masters and became the first Monday qualifier to win a PGA Tour competition since 2010. Conners finished 26th in the FedEx Cup standings and led the PGA Tour in “Greens in Regulation” for the 2019 season.
