Justin Thomas Clubs: What’s in the Bag 2023?
Updated: Apr 3

Justin Thomas has solidified his status as one of the greatest golfers in game history by winning two major titles and numerous other events. Due to his success, he was able to secure a "club and ball" partnership with the Titleist, an American golf brand. In addition, he is sponsored by Greyson apparel and has a footwear agreement with Footjoy, one of the top golf shoe manufacturers. Join us as we examine Justin Thomas WITB and other equipment in more detail.
Justin Thomas WITB 2023
Here is what Justin Thomas has planned for 2023:
Justin Thomas WITB’ Driver: Titleist TSi3
The first item in Justin Thomas WITB is his driver. He has long used the Mitsubishi Diamana ZF as his shaft, but even then, he has undergone a number of variations in the type of drive slot he employs. Justin Thomas chose the TSi3 more lately, and he did so right away after they were released in 2020. Prior to deciding on the TSi3, he used the TS3, tried the TSi2, and used the TS3. It will be fascinating to see if he continues to use this driver.

The TSi3 has five adjustable settings that change the driver's center of gravity and is made of sturdy, aerodynamic titanium metal. The player's hand has a superior feel thanks to its robust shape and sophisticated aerodynamics, which also increase the club head speed and distance.

Justin Thomas WITB 3 Wood: Titleist 915FD
Justin Thomas decides to stick with the conventional older TS3 clubs for his woods for the 3 wood. He discovered he hit the 3 wood farther than he envisioned after testing the TSi fairway woods when they were released in 2020. With a high MOI and thinner face on the TS3, he could regulate the ball's pace and distance.

Justin Thomas WITB 5 Wood: Titleist 915FD
Since 2016, Thomas has continued to use the Titleist 915FD 5 wood, unlike some other elite players who have since added a 7 wood to their collection. Even older than his 3 wood is this. A Fujikura Motore Speeder VC 9.2 Tour Spec X shaft is used in conjunction with it. Although Justin says he could use this off the tee, he favors using it on par fives or in distances between 250 and 260 yards.

Justin Thomas WITB ’ Irons: Titleist 620 MB, Titleist T100
On the course, Justin starts with the 4 iron T100 irons series before switching to the 620MB for a little more forgiveness and flexibility. The 620MB irons range in size from 5 to 9. The T100 is based on the idea of the three Ds, which are:
-
Distance
-
Descent
-
Dispersion
This is the outcome of the study done by the Titleist team to develop a product that is superior to its forerunner. His iron blades are True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X10. Justin Thomas WITB’ Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks, Vokey Design SM9
Thomas utilizes a set of three Vokey Design SM9 wedges for his pitch, sand, and gap wedges.

Many of the design additions made to these clubs as a result of Justin Thomas' input. He claimed that the sole, bounce, and grind of the clubs helped him make a stronger connection with the greens. He employs True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shafts on the first three clubs. For his lob wedge, he employs a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400 Shaft and a Titleist Vokey Design Wedgeworks club.
Justin Thomas WITB Putter: Scotty Cameron Phantom X5.5
We'll talk about Justin Thomas' putter to round out the clubs he employs. I believe it is fair to say that Justin is a pretty good putter given that he once held the No. 1 golf ranking. Justin utilizes the Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 tour as a prototype for his putting. He discovered that the open-closed stroke he prefers is well-suited to the shaft's curve created by the lie angle.

Justin Thomas WITB’ Golf Balls: Titleist Pro V1x
Justin Thomas gains from using the Titleist Pro V1X ball because he hits low balls well. Additionally, a lot more expert golfers use this ball. The Pro V1X's extended game strong ball flights make it especially advantageous when playing in windy conditions.More information on the Titleist Pro and alternative balls is provided below.

Justin Thomas WITB’ Grips: Golf Tour Velvet Tour Cords and Superstroke Pistol GT Tour
The Golf Tour Velvet Tour Cord is what Justin Thomas employs for his irons, wedges, and woods. A bushed cord hidden inside the rubber grip enables Justin Thomas to use his clubs in any setting or climate. His putter's bespoke design includes a grip with the Superstroke Pistol GT tour logo.
Justin Thomas WITB’ Shoes: Footjoy Golf Shoes
Given that Footjoy is probably the best golf shoe company ever, it is not surprising that many professional golfers wear their footwear. Justin has wore three distinct types of shoes from the company in the most recent competitions:
-
The spiked Tarlow
-
The spikeless Flint
-
The spiked Packard
Justin Thomas WITB’ Apparel
Although Ralph Lauren had previously sponsored Justin Thomas, he recently agreed to a brand deal with Greyson Clothiers. Even though Justin Thomas' bag changes, it will always be a Titleist bag as long as they continue to support him.
