Colin Morikawa WITB 2023
Young American golfer Collin Morikawa has had a successful PGA Tour career thus far, winning five times, two of which were Major Championships—the 2020 PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship. What clubs is he currently using? Let's look at Collin Morikawa WITB.
Colin Morikawa WITB
Colin Morikawa WITB - Driver:
Morikawa currently uses a nearly complete set of TaylorMade clubs, including the TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver. He regularly employed the earlier Stealth driver, but the firm claims this updated model has better forgiveness thanks to a 2-gram lighter carbon face and superior "inverted cone technology." This impressed us during our testing, and we also appreciated the modest cosmetic adjustments made to the head, such as the matte-black crown being replaced by a gloss-black finish.

Colin Morikawa uses the Diamana D+ Limited in all of his woods, proving that he is a major Mitsubishi fan in terms of shafts. He utilizes the 80TX design for his two fairway woods and the 60TX model for his driver.
Colin Morikawa WITB - Woods: TAYLORMADE SIM TI, TAYLORMADE STEALTH PLUS
Currently, Morikawa has a three-wood and a five-wood in his bag. The former is a Stealth Plus model, while the latter is a SIM Ti variant. The former has a loft of 14 degrees, while the later has a loft of 19. It will be fascinating to see if he does transition to the latest Stealth 2 design, but from our observation, we have found that many professionals do not switch into newer models when they have found a model they trust.

Colin Morikawa WITB - Irons: TAYLORMADE P770, TAYLORMADE P7MC, TAYLORMADE P7CM
When it comes to irons, he begins with a TaylorMade P770 four-iron and uses the most recent TaylorMade P7MC from the five-iron down to the six-iron. Then, from the seven-iron to the pitching wedge, he uses TaylorMade P7CMs, however Colin has been known to replace some of the P7MCs with more of these. Given how well he plays the irons and how much forgiveness it offers, he chooses the P770 as his longest iron. He employs the True Temper Dynamic Gold X100s, a model that is highly well-liked on the Tour, in all of his irons.

He utilizes S400 shafts rather than the X100 ones here, but he also employs True Temper Dynamic Gold shafts in his wedges.

Colin Morikawa WITB - Putter: TAYLORMADE TP SOTO
TaylorMade describes Collin as "a tried and true blade guy," so it was intriguing to see him compete in numerous tournaments using the FCG mallet. Before switching to the Spider GT Rollback, he temporarily put the Juno back into play. Apparently, TaylorMade Collin admired the Pure Roll insert's tactile qualities and the way the Rollback rests at address in all Spider GT putters.
Although he occasionally uses it, this has been in the bag for a while. However, we've recently seen him carrying the TaylorMade TP Soto. He has modified his putter quite a bit over the past year.

Colin Morikawa WITB - Golf Ball: TAYLORMADE TP5
The golf ball he uses is a TP5. However, interestingly, Morikawa noticed that using a TP5x when he first got pro had a detrimental effect on his chipping since he felt like he was scooping rather than spinning the ball. He tried the TP5 ball as a result, and it appears to be effective.
